Weekday mornings are available, by advanced
reservation, for group tours of The 1950s All-Electric House. Make an
appointment to tour the house with a costumed, 1950s tour guide! For
Saturday morning tours, reservations must be made one month in advance.
Reservations for Saturday morning tours cannot be made during "A Very
Fifties Christmas" event.

With a costumed 1950s host as a guide, visitors will experience first hand the House of the Future --- moonglow light fixtures, waist high outlets, dishwasher, and a central air conditioner. The 1950s All-Electric House offers a look at a time in Johnson County's history when the population doubled and then doubled again. Tours last 20 minutes; 10 people per tour. Fee: $2 per person.
