Lanesfield School Historic Site is located 4 miles west of Gardner, Kansas and 1 mile northeast of Edgerton, Kansas. 

The address is 18745 S. Dillie Road, Edgerton, Kansas 66021.

 From Kansas City/Johnson County

Take I-35 South, exit at #210 (Gardner exit) and continue straight on Highway 56/Main Street though Gardner.  Immediately west of downtown Gardner, Highway 56/Main Street veer left.  Continue straight (do not veer to the left) on 175th Street. Follow 175th Street, towards Gardner-Edgerton High School.  Travel 3 miles to Dillie Road, turn left, and continue 1.5 miles down Dillie Road. Lanesfield School Historic Site will be on your left hand side. 

From Lawrence

Take K-10 east from Lawrence to the exit for 1061 Road (Eudora exit). Turn south (right) on 1061, then east (left) on 458 Road.  458 becomes 143rd Street when you cross into Johnson County.  Turn south (right) on Edgerton Road, then east (left) on 175th Street.  Travel approximately 1 mile on 175th Street, then turn south (right) on Dillie Road.  Lanesfield School Historic Site will be 1.5 miles down Dillie Road on your left hand side.
